The main problem with the lazy is not how much money the syphon from the system. It's that they are used to vote in corrupt politicians who give them a small cut and steal the rest. The truth is, most of our tax dollars go to funding those who are much wealthier than us. The ignorantly left on the other hand sees the government as a charity when nothing could be further from the truth. The government pays itself and it's wealthy benefactors. Its lazy dependents get what's left but never too much, as that might allow them to leave. Lazy government dependents undermine the whole system in many ways.

If you want to help the needy, give them help directly. If you want to help the rich, you can do it by paying more taxes.
