You may be right about it not (totally) being about left and right. When you look at YouTube (leftist stronghold/ place they're trying to make into a leftist stronghold) comments on the videos of certain actors, it's very encouraging. Especially when the video subject matter has nothing to do with their crimes and people are still just commenting about child trafficking, adrenochrome, etc.

But I'd wager that political allegiances still blind many many people on the left, because most of the perpetrators listed from Hollywood, politics and the music industry are liberal while Trump (who they hate) is the hero. It's gotta be too much for a lot of them to come to terms with. Hell, there are still people that defend Biden as if they're not living through all the bullshit every day.
