I'll issue a warning on home schooling. Absolutely 100% it's a great idea. But, and it's a big but. Just make sure what other home schooled groups you might be linking your kids up to in those communities. It turns out, there's a high population of LGBTQ kids in home school communities who are there out of fear of being picked on, singled out, etc... my friend is finding this out the hard way. He has 3 kids being home schooled and a very large number of kids his kids interact with are LGBTQ. He said between his 3 kids, they know a total of 11 such kids they are friends with.
