By Mr. GAETZ (for himself, Mr. MASSIE, Mrs. GREENE of Georgia, Mr. GOSAR, Mr. BISHOP of North Carolina, and Mr. GOHMERT): H. Res. 1011. A resolution recognizing the erroneous and misleading allegations in the October 19, 2020, ‘‘Public Statement on the Hunter Biden Emails‘‘ signed by 51 former intelligence officials; to the Committee on Oversight and Reform.
Actual Congressional Record page H3970. The resolution has to pass that committee and be voted on of course.
It appears Gaetz entered the laptop contents into the lowercase "congressional record", not the public-facing record but the House judiciary committee record. I am investigating to what degree this can be reviewed by the public but I don't suspect it will be easy at this stage; will report anything of interest. However, having it in the HJC record is still a tectonic shift. The above paragraph is the only public-facing reference I found to Gaetz's activity in the daily Congressional Record.
Thanks Nadler.
I think we really can thank Nadler for allowing it in committee. However the whole buzz about it being in the formal Congressional Record appears to be misdirection as the exchange apparently happened in committee and not on the main assembly floor. Nobody said it would be public, but there were assumptions floating around based on how it was introduced.
I wonder why Gaetz said Congressional Record on his Rumble video then.

I'd love that to be true, but I quoted and linked The Congressional Record, and I quoted him saying the committee record. Patience. Or you can source better than I did.
