Lennon was a nasty bit of work.

My aunt knew Cynthia in the 1960's, the psychological cruelty JL inflicted on Cynthia was truly awful.

No physical cruelty, there was nothing he wouldn't say to her to hurt her.

Apparantly he was just the same with his son Julian.
