I had a really bad episode of sleep paralysis last night and it felt demonic in nature. It happens to me once or twice every year it seems. As darkness starts to settle in for the night, I’m getting scared to go to sleep in a little while. If you’re reading this can you pray for me? Thank you

Aww, you should read a bit about lucid dreaming. It's just where you become lucid (aware) that you're dreaming. Sleep paralysis is when your brain releases a paralyzing agent to keep you from literally acting out your dreams EVERY NIGHT. But sometimes what happens is something interrupts your brain (sometimes it can be a sound, or a thought, etc...) in this in-between stage of sleep, and your brain begins to imagine different dangers or hazards EARLIER than its supposed to for dreaming, so those hazards can APPEAR to be in the material waking world. Most people describe seeing shadows out of the corner of their eyes or the feeling of someone being in the room with them / a weight sitting on their chest.
I know saying this is not the cure you're hoping for. But it's a doorway to solving your sleep paralysis yourself.
When I was a kid, I suffered from sleep paralysis. I still do technically, but I don't suffer. I've learned that I can take control of my thoughts, force my eyes closed, and let myself slip DIRECTLY into a lucid dream. Instantly. It's wild, I'll go from "Oh fuck, that's a scary feeling..." to a loud buzzing as your brain releases that sleep chemical and allows you to dream.
And from there you can either let the dream take control line most nights, or you can control your dream and have some dream fun.
