Yeah, really sucks about Shang Chi. I enjoyed it a lot, but it sounds like they might not continue with it. Partially because of the way they introduced him (no inclusion in other films) but also, and I do believe primarily with how hard they came at him, Sima Liu is against the CCP because he was raised by his parents who knew firsthand how bad they were.
Disney and the CCP could not abide that, and exhausted a surprising amount of effort to try and destroy his career. Which is a shame, since he was also hilarious in Kim's Convenience.
Ladythor has some potential as a side character, if Thor indeed stays with the Guardians of the Galaxy. But it won't be a popular main character, and that's a comic I'm not exactly excited to see come to fruition.
Thor is my favorite of the current MCU, and Chris makes the ladies swoon. Just slapping a woman in is less likely to add to the success from Chris's mainstream sex appeal and charisma.
Chadless Panther is going to be interesting. They don't really have a choice. Hopefully they don't wokeify it as much as we can all suspect they would.
It makes me incredibly sad actually. I remember seeing fantastic in the early 90s it was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. I think Biden has opened the eyes of even those that felt life was good. The corruption yet to be revealed will put many in their graves because they were sold a LIE. Either put your money in hard assets like land in the country or gold and silver. You can still receive an income from those precious metals - it just means YOU control that income. Banks etc are cut out of the loop. So if you have $100,000 in your super or 401k? I think you call it, you swap it out for 50 ounces of Gold. While you would need to see what restrictions there are and I believe there is none, that $100,000 you have in super is going to zero. But that gold, just 1 ounce is going up. The situation is that while gold in America is around $2,000 ounce, the premiums are rising. Look around for a reputable bullion dealer. Listen to Lynette Zang or others that are ringing the warning bells. Lynette has an excellent podcast today.

It's easy to scorn people for not knowing all of the dark stuff behind these things. But we were all like that at some time. And I'm still learning new things everyday from coming here.

Anytime a stock drops in value from someone we support (like Trump and Truth Social recently) all you'll see here is rally cries of "Buy the dips!" But whenever it's from those we dislike we automatically think it's the death knell for them. I've seen the demise of Netflix celebrated here many times in the last few years.
I just have a difficult time not only with the double standards but also because I feel it's a hollow victory. Does this stock drop really affect those that deserve it? Not that I can see. Basically it just seems like a way for people to feel better about things, no matter if what they believe is true or not.

They thought they would be "correcting" perceptions, just as Netflix did, but Disney had even more to lose, and in record time.....it is gone. They never thought this could happen
My DH and I inherited some stock. We could care less that it's tanking. I didn't sell it off in the near past cause I wanted to be able to complain as a stockholder. Not that Disney cares about what the stockholder's actually think, so maybe now is the time.
We just went to Disney World last September for the 50th Anniversary. We enjoyed it, but everything was so expensive. The joke amongst our group of 18 people was $20 bucks...everything was $20.00 and up, even the small souvenirs.
