I'm disgusted by how easily the medical field gave in to corruption

They were already corrupt. COVID just revealed it. The pharmaceutical companies run the medical industry, from training to school curriculum to licensing and much more. It's increasingly collectivized with individual doctors taking their orders from above. The focus of modern medicine is on selling surgeries, treatments, and drugs you take for life, which cause more problems so they can sell you more drugs. Doctors who can heal ailments naturally and quickly are labeled quacks and charlatans and drummed out of the business.
