I'm an RN. Have done a lot of TB tests. The skin PPD test involves injecting 0.1 ml of the solution right under the skin. It gets checked in 48-72 days to see if reaction. The solution is really no big deal. There is also a blood test that can be done- it's called a QFT (Quantiferon test). Blood drawn and sent to lab. The company we use takes about 3-5 days for results. Blood test is more accurate that skin test but most companies use the skin test. It's cheaper.
It's a nothingburger.. Don't sweat it.
Have your son stand uncomfortably close to the hiring manager and make sure to breathe on him/her/shim.
A week later, call and tell them that the results are available for his TB test.
Did the hiring manager get tuberculosis? No? Well then... I guess I tested negative for TB. :>)

Thanks y'all!
That pic has nothing to do with my post. I just needed a picture to post and had Snagglepus on hand. :p
The large majority of Asians hold dormant TB in their bodies.

How does that affect their hiring?
