To me, this is a flashback from the 70s when CB radio was the hot item. While these codes did originate with law enforcement, truckers picked up on it, and made it the pop culture of the time.
Looks right to me but I’d say most people only recognize the real basic ones unless you’re a cop or fireman or something. Ive used those in the past and we really only knew probably 10 of them
Logged over a million miles in a big truck, had a Galaxy with a Big Kicker, some times I had to roll down the window just to let a little of it out. Gear Jammers and Smokie Bears speak the same language. This is the lingo used state side, many a miles were that west coast turn around.
But even back then, few knew more than a hand full.
To be clear, he said these codes are is what law enforcement uses.

He was Medicine Man, friend's dad was M-,1, the Gun, the Rifleman. I was Bloodclot lol
Good times.
Fun when the "skip" occurred and you could listen across the country or even the globe.

Yep.

It varies. Here in the PNW some of those 10 codes are the same but a few mean something very different.
Edit: After taking a closer look, nearly all are the same but there are a few different.

Question: Are these the same across all dept’s across the country or does each state have their own call numbers?
