A mistake was identified by some diligent folks in TN.
It was reported.
An investigation was conducted.
A finding was reported.
A correction to the system was made.
This is actually a great example of how things should work. Kudos to everyone involved.
Now, if the finding was that there was a comment in the code that said, “enter cheat code here”, followed by the “erroneous code”, or that the EAC knew the erroneous code was present but validated the software anyway, then we’d have something to talk about.

There are no EAC certifications for the machines for elections in 2018 and 2020.
No Certifications means no Election.
He is not overly enthusiastic at all just excited at what they have discovered.
Humans write software. It contains errors. They’re called bugs.
Of course, it’s frustrating that the EAC didn’t catch it, but this happens all the time as well.
I get it that people want something to chew on, but for this to be meaningful, intent must be proven. It must be shown that the erroneous code wasn’t just a mistake, and/or that the EAC knew the mistake was there and validated it anyway.
Let me guess, does the "error" benefit Democrats?
All software has “erroneous code”.

They never should have used that version without knowing the ramifications of the code. It should have been fixed and redeployed.
