A mistake was identified by some diligent folks in TN.
It was reported.
An investigation was conducted.
A finding was reported.
A correction to the system was made.
This is actually a great example of how things should work. Kudos to everyone involved.
Now, if the finding was that there was a comment in the code that said, “enter cheat code here”, followed by the “erroneous code”, or that the EAC knew the erroneous code was present but validated the software anyway, then we’d have something to talk about.

They never should have used that version without knowing the ramifications of the code. It should have been fixed and redeployed.
