Porn is a result of this degenerate society. Look at all of the most heinous and grievous sins of this country. Child trafficking, sex trafficking, human trafficking, etc., these all have a roll to play in pornography.
People involved who have become whistleblowers have made startling claims. IIRC, it was over 70% of porn stems from the aforementioned problems, not a lot of porn was consensual, even by a loose moral concept of consensual.
Supporting pornography is directly supporting the illegal trafficking industries. So to that end, God bless the anti-porn folks, regardless of who they work for, they are, at some level, doing the Lord's work. Especially Gab, God bless them, not that I agree with Gab on everything, in this, they are correct.
I don't believe banning porn will fix such issues, instead will drive it worse as there would be no outlets. There will always be sexual deviants, but I believe there exists a percentage that are on the cusp of using visual means to play out their fantasies as opposed to those that actually go out and act on them.
One day I would like to do a deep dive to find out what the impacts of banning/legalizing prostitution and/or pornography have had on society both the positives and negatives and research how countries in the modern era fare compared to others, as I know there are plenty of places like Amsterdam's red light district, Australia, and so on where prostitution is legal.
What? Bad logic. People will still have porn that they've downloaded, they will get bored with it, and they will eventually start to break from the curse, realizing that porn is meaningless. Yes, there will always be sexual deviants, but giving them opportunities to get off on something like legalized porn will only advance their desires.
Let me put this in a simpler format. Looking at pornography creates a chemical reaction in your brain that is addictive. When you satisfy that chemical reaction, it only comes back stronger, this keeps repeating. That is why people addicted to porn don't watch the same porn or the same porn type over and over. It gets more and more disgusting in terms of content. Eventually they find themselves watching abuse porn, child porn, rape porn, family style porn, etc. This is all more and more disturbing things when you consider, how are those particular porns made, and even how the "consensual" porn is made, it's disgusting. It thrives on trafficking, and it creates a market for trafficking.
We Q anon'd Torba on Gab. He's all in now.
Still wants to ban porn, though.
A noble goal that will never, ever work--if anything, it'll make things worse.
Just like Prohibition.
