I've been pondering all the ree-ing this week. And reflecting on birth control, statistics, days of the month its even possible to get pregnant etc.
The simple conclusion is that birth control is pretty effective, and there's plenty of options. And the window for achieving pregnancy WHEN IT WORKS is only a couple days a month. Hence, the agitation for abortion is simply agitation for nihilistic levels of irresponsibility.
Yeah I get occasionally pregnancy happens despite precautions etc, but those numbers have to be next to 0 relative to all the others. These people are basically saying they have 0 capability to be one bit responsible for one of the most important things they ever have the need to be responsible for/about, yet have the grand stage to REEEE in our faces (and mostly peacefully soon a lot worse)....
Getting pregnant, assuming the, ahem, prerequisite activities, is like getting happy, getting sick or growing tall. That is, there is huge variation from one couple to another. Some work diligently with no result, but others demonstrate seemingly effortless fertility. For some couples it's not hard at all.
