I have also found that simply affirming out loud, "I trust in God" has worked miracles in my life. It's like the scene in Rogue One where the strong force user keeps saying over and over out loud, "I am one with the force and the force is with me", it's almost like a forcefield is created around the person when saying that or something like it.
