Translation is correct, but last sentence of text itself is not written by native speaker; it's more like attempt via Google Translate or...
"как бы ты дурака не включал" -- включать can be translated as "turn on" like in turn on the lights 'включать свет', or "include" like in include evidence 'включать свидетельство', but 'play the fool' would be 'играть дурака' for more formal or 'валять дурака' for regular spoken version. NEVER will it be "включал"!
