You guys are missing the point here. This is not about this trail. What this is about is breaking down a wall of defense. Durham isn't putting Sussman on trail. He's putting this lame blocking maneuver of claiming A/C privilege on trail. Once he has these 2-3 witnesses testify that all those lawyers and their clients all knew that A/CP was a lie then they are all toast in every and any other trail. He can just point out to the court that they are freaking liars and their A/CP claims are just a way to shield criminal activity.
Those same lawyers represent HRC etc as well. So there will be no long drawn out fight to get documents. There will be no motions to withhold documents. Their will be no fight. He will flip the dragon over on its belly and stab it right through the heart with very little trouble.
Sussman is just a Trojan Horse. Durham involved all the parties to the conspiracy because he wanted all of them to rush to court and claim A/CP as a defense to hide documents like they always do. Once he breaks that castle wall completely down its gone for good and can't be used again. So then he unseals the indictment for HRC, Podesta etc and he gets all the documents he wants because their lying is already established. That creates more panic. They will probibly start shredding/burning shit, which is destruction of evidence. It will be a death spiral.
Why can't Durham just pull the same stunt Mueller pulled on Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, and forcibly take the evidence? Mueller set that unconstitutional precedent violating A/CP.
That isn't really a precedent anyone wants set in stone by repeating it. There is a point behind A/CP. I get what you are trying to say, but that is like saying why not just murder the guy you believe raped your daughter because that vigilante did it one time and got off with a light sentence. What if you are wrong and he isn't the guy that raped her etc etc?
IMHO when everything is revealed... when the curtain is FULLY pulled back, years from now people will point at their raid on his office not as a precedent but as a CLEAR example of weaponized law enforcement and add that three people where charged with crimes because they green-lit that raid. Of course those crimes will be minor compared to other stuff they are charged with, but it will set the REAL precedent. Don't fuck around with raiding lawyers offices unless you do it for the right reason and in the right way.
Agreed... no charges have been brought... YET! Patience. As they roll up these traitors at some point someone is going to be forced to look VERY hard at that raid... if they haven't already. It could be in a sealed indictment.

No charges were brought for the A/CP laws that were violated against Trump. Laws that are selectively enforced do not qualify as laws.
