The cabal's puppets were in love with Elon and the apparent moves he was making right up until he stole their mouthpiece and started talking about freedom of speech.
Now freedom of speech is just to dangerous for them to allow him to turn his mouthpiece over to the people, and Elon is one of those evil billionaire that should give away his wealth, and not allowed to own Twitter.
I don't know whether he is a whitehat or not. I did not like some of his research on connecting humans to his envisioned net, but at this point I'll give him a break and watch closely his actions. What people say and what people do is vastly different, and you'll know the truth by their actions. So far he is only saying the right things now.
I think he wants it all. His ideals say free speech should be allowed and he's okay with people being negative toward his ideas, but he'll keep pressing towards his other ideals of technology pushed to its wildest limits, even to the point of changing the way the Creator has intended his creation to be, because to him, God is not in the equation; or if God does exist for him, He is not something to be taken into account on a moral basis. Edited to add: I just watched a video where Elon says religion and science probably cannot co-exist. I think that is a problem.
It seems to me that Elon WANTS to be challenged on his ideas at the very, very least. Twitter being a propaganda platform that stifles open discussion, by its very nature, eliminates challenge unless its the 'wrong' politics.
