So we have a dilemma.
My friend and I are film producers and screenwriters. Because we are conservatives, we've pretty much been blacklisted from working in film. We decided to keep busy doing short documentaries instead, championing conservative causes while biding our time.
The problem is we don't know if we should be on Rumble or on YouTube. YouTube has more traffic, has a better interface, but we'll eventually get banned.
Rumble has absolutely shit interface but at least we'll have free speech. And traffic will probably be bad for a while.
Your thoughts?
Our first videos on Gun Control:

Use both. Use YouTube until they ban you, and then you have a back up on rumble that you can direct people to in advance. This is what salty cracker does. He gained a following on YouTube, but he does is streamed now on rumble. He only runs his stream for an hour on YouTube and then tells people to come over to rumble to watch the rest of it. So you get the traffic of YouTube, and then you bring it over to rumble. It’s a really great model I think. A great way to get people off of you too, and yet use that market to build your channels. Best of luck
Get on Twitter also, keeping on the DL until Elon is there. Once YT bans you, post info and link to Rumble.
Exactly, use Twitter, TruthSocial, and whatever other platforms that you think would drive traffic to your channel.
I started a nature video channel recently. I don’t really know what I’m doing, so it’s slow going. But I’m on YouTube, and I got a Facebook page. I watched a tutorial where if you have a Facebook page, and then you join other groups that have like interests, it will drive traffic to your channel. So you post your videos on Facebook, and then it drives traffic to you. Now I don’t know what the contact is of your videos, so Facebook may not work but my channel has nothing to do with politics at all whatsoever. Eventually I’ll be doing 302nd animal videos on Instagram or TickTock or something like that. But I don’t run the risk of being banned because I don’t have anything political going on. Just a suggestion!
Both. Teasers and trailers (at least) on YT, and use the description on YT to link your website. Website can be a simple relay station, listing where the content is found. On your website make rumble prominent. X22 did it this way (and so did Julie Green more recently). That way they were easy to find after YT banned them. Good luck!
Maybe this is not input you want, and I'm probably not in your target group (60+ woman, disabilities, in Europe), but I just do not click YouTube links, when I can avoid them. I look YT only if absolutely interested in topic. My preferred aggregate is Bitchute, after that Rumble.
Most of YT links I click are already banned! :D
Personally, if I were starting a channel, I would go only on Rumble. I believe that if every creater did this, we would not have been in this mess in the first place. Whenever a solution to a problem is "if everyone did such and such", it means we need to do it ourself, regardless of who does it. That is the only way.
Rumble all the way. I watched this outstanding video on Rumble and would bet 10:1 that YT would pull the old violates community standards nonsense. Nice work!
Thank you!
Gab has video-channels now too, you know. Put your work everywhere you can! Maybe TS will too, eventually.
Rumble. Less traffic, but also less competition to distract away from your vids.
Don't forget Odysee, Full 30 and Utreon.
They will all Automagically download from YT.
Which brings me to... Use YT, because all those sites will Automagically download from YT.
Also, there is Bitchute, I don't know if they auto-DL.
There’s also Bitchute and Banned Videos
