"Penned by transgender sci-fi author Charlie Jane Anders and illustrated by penciller-inker pair Ro Stein and Ted Brandt (Mighty Captain Marvel) with colors from colorist Tamra Bonvillain, themselves a transwoman, Escapade’s story will properly introduce readers to “Shela Sexton, a trans mutant who can instantaneously switch physical locations with another person or trade any specific physical or abstract attribute such as possessions, organizational status, skills, superhuman powers, and even situations!”"
Is there an equivalent for "straight to video" for comics? "Straight to the trash"? "Straight to the bird cage"?
Edit: Yes, apparently "themselves a transwoman" is now correct English.
Who buys this shit? Im guessing exactly no one. Therefore i wonder how it pays the bills. Im guessing they get .gov money for propaganda purposes. Yet another example ofour tax dollars being weaponized in the war against America
i agree/have been seeing this with baked goods. It's like someone high up sabotaged the industry ingredients, and many of the companies haven't caught on yet. their quality control isn't there.
I hate comic books and "graphic novels." I hate comic book movies even more. It's purely toxic, commie drivel these days that targets kids and teens and basement-dwelling "zhey/zher" people. May the industry rot in hell.
as a teacher, I wasn't a fan either. children need to know how to read actual text, not rely on pictures. especially spastic images that take away from concentration/think the books help dumb down our kids.
Coming soon:
PedophileMan
I think it'll be named kiddy diddler
The poor kid won’t. That soopa-horro’s power is to make the kids aware of their surrounding, especially the dangers that come from above or behind.

I guess we can slang it.🤡🌍
Hasn't this been done on SNL ... "Pat?"
Shit, yet another thing that would never fly today.
Don't forget a couple years ago they came up with a couple pussy characters, Snowflake and Safe Space.

This is happening to basically every institution or organization you can think of…
Governments, militaries, churches, the medical industry, scientific community, large companies, education, Hollywood, social media, etc, etc
Progressiveness is a cancer that devours everything it touches because it’s father is the devil.

What's the point of putting pedos in charge of everything if you can't pull their strings when necessary...
That's fucking gay

Comics were traditionally used for propagandistic purposes. "Fight the Nazis! Care about this social issue!".
Thing is, they were tactile and could be produced and propagated without the need of a screen.
Physical media can make it's way into warzones.
Heroes can inspire even when under tyrannical rule.
Now they use them for a new kind of propaganda, but in imploding the comics industry they ensure that nobody else will be able to use them.
