Back in the day, my brother and I and the kids from the neighborhood went to every scary movie that came out. I remember walking to afternoon matinees and later being old enough to go to drive-in movies in our family's old car packed with so many kids, some had to squeeze in the trunk. We'd lay on top of the roof and watch or sit inside the hot car or on cheap aluminum folding chairs while eating homemade popcorn. Oh, those hot, sweaty summer nights....
The reason I bring this up - the above photo of the woman offering her neck to the scary Dracula never made sense to me. I didn't get the erotic undercurrent that was implied back then. Now I do. Yikes.
