Truth Social says they sent a verification code to the telephone number that I entered. The telephone number that I entered is a copper landline. Why can't Truth Social call me up on the phone and tell me the 6-digit verification code using a voice prompt?

When I try one of those numbers Truth Social says, "Failed to send SMS message to your phone number."

I eventually got one to work. Try different sites, different numbers. I found one with a nearby areacode and it worked for me.
I used email verification.
I got the email verification and got that verified, but the next step was a phone verification. I guess I gotta jump through the hoops.
i thought I had found a way but final hoop was phone. the desperate need to join made me drop my defenses.
I just joined today on desktop.
Maybe a friend's phone,who is not going to join.

I tried signing up by browser. It said it was sending me a verification email. They never sent me one. Fail. Are they using the same coders that Obama used for the Obamacare site?
I finally got the verification email by using a Gmail account. I never use Gmail.
I tried that but from an android device and it doesn't have email set up (except Gmail which I save for a special purpose). So the email never arrived on my Windows machine. Maybe using two devices or two OS triggers something.

I can afford a phone and I do have a job, but I don't want a cell phone. Besides being totally useless to be with the exception of calling a tow truck, I seriously believe the Deep State uses them to brainwash people somehow.
