Good Lord! I have to assume these 'depictions' are based on real events. If you really look, they are quite shocking.
Below are my observations:
He drew the well-dressed, wealthy-looking groups of men participating in rituals of hazings, initiations, torture or perhaps even sacrifices.
The men wear identical coat and tails, with some dressing as kings with crowns and fur robes. These 'kings' are being worshipped by men who hail them with raised arms or kneel shirtless before them.
Large groups of men wearing identical sashes or fanny-pack-like silk pouches around their waists like an apron, forming circles or walking, often carrying swords or long, pointy daggers called St. John Swords.
Men on all fours with chains around their necks, being led by another.
Men with leather leashes around their necks being controlled by another man.
Men walking inside a fancy building holding long sharp knives. One man carries 2 severed heads by their hair.
Blindfolded men with ropes around their chest being lifted and suspended in the air
A handcuffed man with his shirt torn half off about to be pushed into an empty coffin with a man holding a hammer over his head
A starved, bald child with what appears to be one arm and leg cut off sitting on the floor on a tarp while men stand around it holding long knives or swords pointed downward
Men brandishing long knives and swords while men who are blindfolded stand before them waiting for ....?
Real-appearing decapitated human heads with mustaches and hair poised atop a tall poles set in the floor of a large vaulted ceilinged room
Headless human-like torso (or long, skinny pig?) cooked and served at banquet tables for a dinner
Coffins, boiling caldrons on burners, mystical symbols of midnight suns, stars, the backward flag symbol, medallions, skulls, skeletons, upside-down pyramids with an all-seeing eye, the checkerboard floor, lighted torches or candles, and more.
Freemasons are nothing without symbology. If you don't know that, you are missing everything. It is amusing to me that, here, we have a community that is willing to go symbol-searching and -interpreting for even the most coincidental of events---and when confronted with a social setting that is absolutely based on symbols (and not on real events or things), loses its composure and fails to see any symbolic meaning. Or, finding the meaning too obscure, immediately assumes it to be the work of Satan.
That's the question. Only they know the answer, and they are not telling. It is not symbolism meant for anyone but their fellows. What is the symbolism of the number 13 (an unlucky number) in the seal of the United States?

Great post, thank you. Fascinatingly bizarre and disturbing!

This is surely a cult. I mean, WTF??

What is the symbolism of the decapitated heads and armless child shown in the link?

Also provides ample blackmail on the participants.
....and this bunch of insipid punks surely need to belong.
Cool stuff
