I was a flying mechanic on C130s (Dedicated Crew Chief, A&P in the civilian world). I was attached as part of flight crew when we flew missions over there. I honestly believe we did some good deeds in Bosnia in the mid 90s. Almost died a few times flying in and out of there in the cloak of night wearing NVGs, doing assault landings and take offs at night. Getting shot at on the way in. Sitting on my flack vest, feet on top of my helmet, because we did take some bullets through the floor in the cargo area and in the wings. However, I honestly believe that both of my tours in the first 2 Gulf wars was a waste and risk of my life for nothing. A deep state operation on both counts. Fuck the Bush's and the horse they ride! Commie ass hats!
Ah takes me back to military school runs at 530am and following the cadence and chant of our lt Col as as jogged, "c-130 rolling down the strip! Airborne daddy gonna take a little trip! Sound off! 1...2.... Sound off! 3... 4...."
Thank you for your service, sir. At least it made you a better man than most o7
