But what if you follow Christ, and strive to become as perfect as he is? I have no secrets. I'd be willing to wager that, spiritually, I'm on a higher level than most lower-tier masons. Not even exaggerating, here. Instead of trying to replace God, in my heart (through exerting my own banal will), I succumb to His will. What does that make me?
I get it. I'm analyzing said quote, for anyone paying attention. That's it. I've dabbled in occult fraternities, before, and quit just before I was asked to say any vows, etc. It's my first belief that anything done in secret, in such a way, is a satanic perversion of the truth. What's their excuse? That's they'll be persecuted? Bullshit. Christ died, very publicly, for our sins. His followers were brutally slaughtered and denigrated, throughout the centuries, for their beliefs: and not once did his Saints try to hide any aspect of his Glory.
Those who belong to "secret societies" are cowards, in my humble opinion. And they will be given a coward's reward, in the afterlife.
You guys have to watch this dialog between Raiden and Joe Biden. I'm sure most of you here haven't seen the Metal Gear dialogs before, but watch them on YouTube. They're incredible.
Here's one about control of information on the internet:
I literally believe every single word of that dialogue to be 100% true. Obviously, worded in a way to fit the gameplay narrative; but analogous to exactly what's going on in the world, today. Things get memory-holed, etc. Our meme-folders might just literally be the only thing that's keeping certain information from vanishing off the face of the Earth, forever.

I literally just found an excuse to throw a Castlevania quote in there.
Thats it.

Then you've already gone too far, but hey, I'm not going to stop ya.
Thats such a memorable part of that game.
