I've been reading shit like this since at least a decade ago. The closest country to get rid of cash was either Denmark or Sweden and they unintentionally fucked entire segments of the population (elderly, not tech savvy, homeless, etc...and had to start walking their policies back) Because they didn't think about so many details or realize how many transactions weren't digital. We are all a LONG way from abolishing cash
