It's much like the concept of those supposedly in the know about Q, devolution, etc. denying their existence. Trump has to appear on the outside or else the left screams "COUP!" from the rooftops. That's not to say that there are new details Trump doesn't know about, but I'm sure you're right.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at this upcoming meeting.
