I never understood why, if drags want to look like women, they go so far out of their way to not look like an actual woman.
No woman looks like a drag queen. They say people like Dolly Parton are their inspiration, but they don't even try to emulate her, either - except the big hair, maybe.
The same goes for effeminate gay men. Their mannerisms, cattiness, and makeup are so far removed from realistic femininity that they've become their own breed.
