Bumping up production of heat pumps and transformers actually seems like a good idea, depending upon the methodology. I've heard there are extreme shortages of both. The rest is typical "muh climate change" progressive bullshit
Yeah, this one is difficult to sort out. Building insulation also seems like something you might want local sourcing on. And I'm not sure how making the components locally funnels much money to China. Seems different from Solyndra.
