Sad but true, on those occasions I do a ride tru, it's like I'm lost and made a wrong turn. Hardly recognize any of it.
What part do you call home?
Close to Weeki Wachi...manatee heaven!
As a avid boater and scuba diver, I spent a lot of time on and under the water in your part of the world. Had such a wonderful experience with those mermaids in Crystal River at King's springs.
Florida's waterways are second to none, (what I miss most about the Shine).
Keep in mind I'm from south louisiana where on a good day you might be able to see your fingers wiggle in front of your face in that chocolate brown soup.
When I got to Florida I went wild, every spare moment had something to do with the water.
You've definitely landed in paradise, you lucky dog.
I'm an old horselady, wish I had spent more time on the water when I was younger. I did learn to ski in the Keys and had to maneuver around lobster traps! Can't think of anyplace better to live...well, anywhere as long as it's in the South....La is just gorgeous, you are also blessed!
I found my way to the Sunshine from the Lone Star state, horse country I though. While it would be miss leading to claim status as a horseman, we did own a few in texas. I had a thoroughbred quarter mix, she was beautiful at 18 hands, blood burgundy, accented in black and down right psycho. If the wind blew in the next county, the four fanged horse eaters were after her and she was out the gate.
In retrospect, she was way more horse than I should have started with, but I was young, dumb.
I was quite surprised to find such a thriving equine community in florida. Mostly passos and arabs is what I remember, what flavor do you spoil? How many of them four hoofed children do you have?
When I was learning to ski in south La. we were dodging gators, it added a level of excitement to the activity.
I beg your pardon for any reference to Canis lupus familiaris, young or old, forgive my ignorance.
