True story I went to the local flea market 2 weekends ago in hopes to add a couple more chickens to the flock. I was stunned when told no chickens or any birds were allowed on the premises because of " bird flu" per government.. this was in N.C.
I live in eastern NC, and we can have whatever we wish. The neighbor a couple of doors down has had chickens and goats. The neighbor just past him has chickens, ducks, goats, and sheep. They graze in the front yard. Some people down the road the other way have horses and donkeys.
When I hear gunfire in the area, even at night, I don't worry. I know it's just the neighbors practicing in their back yards. Also, you wouldn't believe how many people in my neighborhood shoot off tons of fireworks, some better than official city shows.
It's pretty safe here. We went on a trip one time and forgot to close the garage door. It was open for days.
We've never had a package swiped from the front porch. Everyone living here pays attention to everything.
CDC testing also revealed that 33% of samples of the bacteria taken from all reported cases have shown resistance to commonly prescribed antibiotics including ampicillin, kanamycin, streptomycin, sulfamethoxazole, tetracycline and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole. .........
33% you say π€‘π€‘ & using big long words to scare normies..
Dude, "chicken lover" and "porn" in the same sentence is disturbing to some researchers who have gone down the rabbit holes like pizzagate. Think about what people are saying to you before flying off the handle and attacking frens.
They are trying to eliminate every form of independent food production in order to force us all onto the government teat. Then they can feed us poisons, bugs, and whatever else they want - or even nothing at all - and we would be powerless to stop them.
Never. Give. Up. Your. Guns. (Or your gardens or your proteins.)

I guess this is where the gubment will try to crack down on folks raising their own food.
Not sure about other municipalities, but Arlington WA allows for seven hens per yard inside the city limits.
Why a limit ? Bird flu ? I understand it going thru thousands of chickens in a farm situation but backyard ?
Ha Ha !
I love my chickens!
Another crock of shit. They want to control everything. They all deserve a hemp necktie.
They don't want anyone to be self sufficient & not depending on the government !
It was the JIF!
That probably wasn't even true
IDK.. I had two jars of the tainted JIF and I felt like shit for a week - until I stopped eating it.
Like the peanut butter. Not believing that one.

It doesn't belong in the context of the thread. By putting that comment out there they just labeled people reading this thread a "boy lover".

So 38 of the cases stemmed from corporate chicken farms? While only 18 cases stemmed from backyard poultry?
Heres some advice, cook your food fully regardless of where you get it from.
I noticed a lot more recalls lately and I find it very suspicious to sayvthe least
Poisoning some chicken is a great way to kill a specific target while making it look like like many randos have been killed.
