The fact people on social media actually believed Ukraine could hope to win this was always amazing to me. Russia spent the early stages organizing and preserving as much infrastructure as possible. If they had wanted a quick victory, they could have had it, but it would have been absolutely brutal and merciless.
"Ukrainian soldiers carry the coffin of slain Ukrainian serviceman during a funeral ceremony in Lviv, Ukraine, on June 11."
That coffin is too small for a full-grown person. Only a kid would fit in that. Look how close the pall bearers are standing to one another -- and there's only three of them on one side.
Sure it looks a little suspect, but from what I've seen on telegram, what's left of some bodies don't need a large casket. The artillery and thermobaric missiles are just shredding Ukraine
Hmm. You may be right. On the other hand, I've never seen a smaller casket come off one of our military planes with a deceased soldier. They're always the same size. But, in time of war, you may need to use whatever is available.
I don't trust Milley at all, and suspect this "grim" report is a prelude to asking for more US dollars and military aid to be sent to Ukraine. The US News outlet is not objective, thus the repeated word "grim"... meant to lull the reader into "right-think" about this lie of Ukraine fighting for its existence. NOT TRUE, Ukraine will be with us for a very long time, just with two eastern provinces in Russian hands.
Maybe US News doesn't understand how little influence they have nowadays. I quit reading all those "legacy news" outlets years ago.... TIME, NY Times, Newsweek.... they all just became untrustworthy.

My impressions:
Some excellent photos in this set. Staged and timed very well to capture what the photographer was wanting to capture.
That's just it though. Too perfect. Too staged. Too emotional. Too clean.
Is it just me, or is the very first photo sus:
