What benefit? Having to divide time between hobbies and someone else? Having to spend money on someone else to prove I love them? Having to spend time with her friends and family members whom I might not like, or who may not like me?
I get to be a helper. I get to learn grace and patience. I have a lifelong team mate who knows my thoughts almost as well as I do. I get to have the Father teach me how to be more like His Son through the unity of marriage.
