Thank you for your post and comments. I am Catholic and there was a time I looked into other denominations and found serious errors in all of them, so I returned.
To those who condemn pedo priests, I could too but I also remember these mega evangelicals bursting in tears on tv over their sins; not because of sins of the flesh but because as it came out they were losing support and donations.
To those who claim we worship others than God, you say because you dont understand that there are those, like the Virgin Mary, who are special to God. We do not worship her but plead with her to intercede for us.... as in : Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us. Who is she praying to but to God on our behalf.
When someone says I'm having surgery tomorrow, pray for me. Though I would but I may be a bigger sinner than that person. Wouldnt asking the Mother of God to pray (intercede) for that person carry more weight?
I too wonder why there are so many Methodists, Lutherans and Presbyterians who regularly attend mass at our Catholic churches. Are they searching like I did?
