God bless you and your daughter! We sent the most special spirits, I’m very religious and I believe their spirits are protected from evil trying to entice them to sin. They are so innocent and I believe we were given them specially to protect. I almost feel sorry for parents who abuse that because I think they will face harsh judgment and guilt someday. I pray I can protect him sufficiently from this world. He is non-verbal so I am extremely cautious of who can be alone with him.
My daughter is non-verbal as well. We are Christians too. We pray over my daughter every night for Jesus to protect her. She has a unique ability of sensing evil in people and in general and we use that to our advantage. Funny story, she got kicked out of her school for being violent. She never used to be violent. I started investigating my theory of her sensing evil and determined that the school was haunted, hence her violet outbursts. My wife spoke to an ex janitor who said doors would open & close on their own at night when he was the only person there. She got moved to Easter Seals and she is doing wonderful. Just as our Lord gives a blind person acute hearing skills and intuition, He also gives our special children unique abilities. We just have to figure it out. I have ended friendships and acquaintances due to their view that my daughter is useless and doesn’t contribute to society. Yes, they actually would say that to me. Those people are lost, but I pray for them still. Oh, I can go on and on. I bet you could too!😉
Oh wow! That’s amazing! And yes definitely 😆 So far my sons unique ability is to be so freakin happy. My 15 yo is basically Aspergers and doesn’t handle him so well, he has been mean to him over the years and one day he cried worrying his younger brother hates him. I told him that I’m pretty sure his brother is incapable of hating anyone and he likes to mess with his older brother. He is just so genuinely innocent and happy like a toddler or baby. He finds joy in the simplest things and I absolutely love it.
God bless you. My daughter has Down Syndrome. She is loved by so many! Is she a challenge? Of course, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
