The ploy here is to plant the narrative in everyone's heads that the Supreme Court has banned abortion in the entire US to induce headless chicken panic in the stupid ones. It's just another of their big lies.
There's also the fact that this is so ridiculous they know they'll get plenty of ink. But you'll notice every liberal - politician, media, whatever - is trying to hammer the lie that the Roe v Wade decision ends abortion nationwide. We need to try to get the goofballs to use their brains a little bit and realize the truth about this issue and how they're lying again.
Abortion aside, recognizing sovereignty of tribal jurisdictions is a good thing. This push is stupid because, at least to my knowledge, native tribes have never been prominent abortion advocates.
I would love to see tribes use their sovereignty to offer ivermectin, fenbendazole, herbal remedies such as pine needle and essiac tea, cancer cures and other non-AMA medical treatments. Wouldn't it be a better use of their sovereignty than gambling? Done properly it could be a revenue center and source of employment, besides the obvious good it would do for their own and surrounding community.
You want the same people who have had 3 strokes and 5 boosters and are afraid of "covid" to use their brains. C'mon man!
The native Americans need to file a restraining order against Warren. So she can NEVER utter their names in vain again.
Warren's Indian name: Rotting Donkey Corpse.
I think they're going to have a hard time convincing the tribes to do this. I've lived near two major reservations my whole life I have Native American family and friends, one thing I know is that they love to have babies.
Also I think they would be very offended if you tried putting any teepees on their land.
You're missing my point. They know it's ridiculous and the tribes won't agree. Not to mention there will be no women so desperate for an abortion and unable to get one. I remember the days when some states had legal abortion and others didn't. Women got into cars and drove to the states that did.
The entire scenario is a big lie. The entire purpose is to plant the idea that the SC just eliminated abortion nationwide, which they did not. All they did was send the issue back to the states.
I saw someone on our side claiming that to pro-lifers, this ruling is about abortion but to the Democrats it's about states' rights. That guy is either controlled opposition or an idiot or (most likely) his statement was misquoted. This ruling* is *about states' rights to everyone. It's about liberals tramping on those rights in the original RvW ruling. Yes, it now means states can halt abortions or limit abortions, just like it was before RvW. Abortion is not and never has been a constitutionally protected right to be decided by the SC.
And, the liberals did this through the court because, as in every other issue they've shoved through by federal judges, they knew they would never have the votes to get bills through Congress to accomplish their aims.
And the real reason they're pushing this lie is because they don't want the SC to be able to uphold states' rights and the Constitution. Do you really think they give a rat's butt about women?
BTW, in my state I don't believe the Native Americans ever lived in teepees, so I'm sure they would think feds building them on their reservation was ridiculous.
I'm in North Dakota the Nomadic tribes like the Sioux actually did.
Sorry if I missed your point. I didn't know you were making one I only saw the title but no link. I know you took a long time writing your reply but honestly I didn't read it
I was actually trying to support you and contribute not argue with you.
I didn't realize I was supposed to stuff the entire point into the header. Why would there be a link? I'm not trying to argue with you either but I didn't realize you were responding to the headline without reading my post. It had nothing to do with whether the tribes would or wouldn't go along with this ridiculous proposal.
And btw, I actually read both of your posts before responding.
It is a common media misconception that indians lived in teepees. It really started with the movie westerns of old whenever you have conflict between settlers and indians. That is just people like director John Ford saying that indians were different from all of us.
I have been informing people expecially the nutzos on FB. It's amazing how little they know because of listening to these freaks.
To divert federal funds to the reservations to be used by the powers that be maybe?
Yeah, that ain't happening. Do a little Googling and see for yourself.
Here's a thought for you? What if many of the abortions that happen don't get registered as deaths, but instead get registered as living. How hard would it then be to get these added to the voter rolls at some point in the future, and then vote for the DS installed puppets?
Same thing with illegal immigrants, and issuing social security numbers and the DMV database. How hard would it be to fake their status and get them to vote the way you wanted, even if they got a ballot. Do you see now why so many illegal immigrants are needed (apart from the cheaper labour) and abortion is pushed in many major Dem states?
Sounds very hygienic and safe.
If they had any brains or self preservation skills, they would use a goddamned condom. But I don’t care- they can get sexually transmitted diseases and pregnant and kill themselves with infection from their alt abortion clinics.
Let them waste their time and energy, it will change nothing. They need to see they are powerless and for all their rage they are just going through an exercise in futility.
And the irony that Alexandria Cortes, who was bemoaning she can’t afford to start a family on a Congressional salary is crying about this ruling is too much. But the reality here is Cortes and Warren don’t care about the people or abortion, they just care about using it to raise money.
There is no rage. That's a lie too. I have to say I'm a bit amazed that anyone who reads my original post could think it says anything other than that the push for teepees is fake and was never intended to actually have abortion teepees built. I don't think it's really about raising money either. It's about spreading the lie that the ruling ends abortion across the US.
We agree on way more than we disagree.
I agree the politicians are pushing a lie. I believe you’re right that some of the protesters are faking rage. But I think there are, as you say, goofballs, who believe the lies and are enraged.
And one thing you can guarantee is politicians will use every opportunity to lie and fake rage as a way to raise money.
But how do you get the typical goofball to understand your original point? You can’t reason with them. Do we give them a dose of their own medicine and act offended this decision still allows some states to allow abortions? Does that get past their programmtng?
And thank you for a good discussion.
I can see Warren and AOC standing next to a trailer decorated to look like a teepee. Like carnival barkers dressed with feather headband and war paint. Said trailer is parked next to the Mohican Sun casino.
