I thought Younkin was one of ours
You stated this, not anyone else. Youngkin was in my opinion the least of evil that was available. He's done some good things, but has become increasingly quiet on the parent rights Fairfax County issue. And where is that fire brand of an AG Virginia has? Crickets.
I mean he's way better than the Clinton crony mcauliffe or whoever but I really thought he seemed like a good one from what I was reading
The moment I read that he was Carlyle Group, it gave me visions of Bush and Cheney. Just because he was co-CEO of Carlyle doesn't mean he is evil per se, but I do believe it was for this reason he was able to run for the gov. position.
The grass root people in Virginia, to which one of them posted on GAW and educated me on this tremendous effort to beat Demwit McClauff, is a milestone and example for other States to emulate. A better job of vetting is in order though. I'm still not sure about their choice.
Ohhh ugh yeah Carlyle Group is bad news
Hogan is a fag RINO.
Happy Pride, Larry!
According to jurisdiction, the two governors are 'technically' correct. It is the role of the US Marshall's office to protect the Federal court system and it's justices. However, if the said justices own a dwelling or residence on private property in the States of Maryland and Virginia (not federal land), I believe for this reason it certainly does fall under their jurisdiction to enforce their State law against protesting at private property. Many States have laws that prohibit protesting at private residences. Some of them if I recall are felonies if convicted.
That title is misleading. After reading the article, I did not get the impression the governors "cucked out".
I will re-read the article tomorrow and delete if I feel as you do.
