So how does England expanding their empire, and ordaining Protectorate status to far away lands not conclude in what they are seeing today?as an example, would not an Indian, who’s county was over run by the british back then, be entitled to the spoils of mother england now?
I get that local folks are appalled by the seemingly unchallenged migration. But the british empire conquered nations world wide. now as a protectorate (or similar status under the crown) isn’t protection or even opportunity under the crown reasonably expected? if elizabeth didn’t make life better, do they have a valid grievance? anyone know how this works?
i’m truly curious, as revisiting “history” has raised more questions than answers.
