I think it was detrimental in showing the world the tactics they will use to quash peaceful protests against the regime... The world knows what happened in Ottawa, no amount of media control can shape a bouncy castle into a tool of insurrection...

It also proved to the world how many people are against all the NWO crap.. It could be argued that was the most important thing it did; provided hope.
