18 U.S.C. 1918 provides penalties for violation of oath office described in 5 U.S.C. 7311 which include: (1) removal from office and; (2) confinement or a fine.

Confinement is fine

Hate to be “that guy” but SCOTUS did not find abortion to be “unconstitutional”, so I’m not sure what you’re on about here…

StageL3ft [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

SCOTUS ruled abortion is not a constitutional right. For something to be constitutional it must be in the Constitution.

I predict nothing will happen to Bowl of Soup for Brains. All of these asshats have violated the constitution, and all of their crimes have so far gone unpunished. But maybe I'm wrong.

The only difference I see here is that the action came after a ruling. Most of them put something out there as if the new norm and push it through the media as such. By the the time SCOTUS calls it unconstitutional, it's too late. It's established norm and hard to reverse. Slow Joe just implied that SCOTUS, the highest court, who's purpose is to keep the Legislative and Executive braches within the Constitution, is somehow irrelevant and will ignore their ruling and take powers into his own hands. POPCORN!!!

We also have never in the past have seen actions on this kind of thing, so the sentiment is WELL understood.

Everyone who voted for it should be tried for treason, with a mandatory immediate death penalty on a guilty verdict.

It means that the governing body has to obey the SCOTUS. Now because the SCOTUS has issued that it's a state's right to choose for themselves and the Biden administration is going to reverse it, it could warrant the impeachment of Biden and go to the senate. If the senate ignored the SCOTUS, then it could lead to a overt civil war! The Congress could also block the executive order, if and only if the President was acting with the authority that given by Congress (president needs to list his authority when given an executive order). It can also be overturned by a court of competent jurisdiction (SCOTUS). It's a bit of a tricky one because. However, presidents in the past have ignored SCOTUS rulings like Abraham Lincoln (suspension of habeas corpus) and George Bush (Guantanamo Bay "detainees") . But those matters are more complex and idk a lot about the history on that.

Absolutely nothing. My grass still grows, gas still increases, Jill and Susan still make decisions to trash the country, Kamala still Yogi Berras, etc.

That (D)epends. Is the oath violator (R)eprehensible or (D)ifferent? Are they going against the Constitution in a (D)efensible, moral way, such as advocating for the murder of babies? Or are they violating the Constitution in a (R)epugnant way, suggesting that humans have a (R)ight to self-defense?

I see what you did there.

Until some section of the US Military does what they have the ability to lawfully do which is to take over the Government, arrest them all, prosecute and jail them all, this will continue to go on and destroy our Republic.

The Supreme Court can make all the great rulings on the table, but if the Government ignores the rulings and they are not held accountable, the destruction will continue.

Munchaussen 4 points ago +4 / -0

Well if you or I did it...we'd be in the electric chair sitting in front of a firing squad...Joe, not so much.

4
ravonaf 4 points ago +4 / -0

An elaborate conspiracy gets created where the military takes control behind the scenes and fakes everything while they figure out how to fix it.

Perrin 4 points ago +4 / -0

If SCOTUS rules drop boxes are unconstitutional then weren't they during the last election too? If SCOTUS rules abortions are not protected under the constitution then havnt they always not been?

2
TakeItBack 2 points ago +2 / -0

Absolutely; murder is never constitutional or lawful. That point seems to be lost on so many.

The Resident is undermining the SC. He is acting as a dictator, by saying only his decisions matter. SC is superfluous and not worthy of being listened to. Ask the dimwits on the street what their response would be to Trump doing this as opposed to the Resident in Chief. You would get orange man bad, dictator Trump.

They haven't followed the constitution in over 30 yrs...its a crime syndicate. We need the AG's from those states to go after them.

2
manxom 2 points ago +2 / -0

he sets the precedent for states ignoring what they believe to be unlawful executive orders and it snowballs.

Simple: impeachment. How to get it is another matter.

Let’s be real: anything that calms down the Left is a win for us. Let them have this win until November. Frenzy is the only reason they win anything. It’s the only reason this deal was leaked in the first place.

In America, nothing...

They were already illegitimate after the rampant fraud was exposed after November 3rd 2020, the true insurrection

I think both those things can occur concurrently. I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of people here that believe in the plan and also continue to vote despite all we know about election fraud.

I’m not sure where it said in the plan to not vote. Q said return the power to the people.
