I went through this with my son 30 years ago. One of his teachers decided he had the drifty kind of ADD. In truth, he was bored silly and felt abused by her harassing. To pacify, I took him to a therapist. $50 a session. Until I found out they just played video games. What a racket. Definitely said no to ritalin.
