I know this is scarcasm, BUT Is would this be considered an "insurrection/coup" if the government turned against the people? Or would it be a revolution?

If the government turns against the people? We call that Tuesday. Lol jk but I guess it's whatever the winners call it. Like if the American revolution had failed, would we learn about the American insurrection?

AFAIK Coup is usually a military takeover
