HEB --- 10lb bag of chicken quarters $6.40 --- 64₵ per pound

That's 10 meals for about 64₵ per meal.

I brine them cold in season salt and meat tenderizer about 3 days.

Then grill them, bake them, whatever.

I am going to try pressure canning them.

Great share! I bought 4 turkeys at Kroger after Thanksgiving, 5 bucks each, I Love turkey sandwiches, wife loves the dark meat, and my friend's dog enjoys the bones.
