The Bangladeshis had a simple wealth creation system that started in the 70s.
Send family to England, open an Indian restaurant in the worst part of town.Open late, sell to abusive drunks.Sell cheap.
Send proportion of money back to Bangladesh where it was worth 20 to 50 times as much.
Bring in more family, cousins , old uncles etc. Open more restaurants employ relatives who are illiterate and speak no English. Exploit them let them live 8 to 10 in a room. Let them send some money home which will make their families think they are rich.
And on it went for years and years.
