A bit of a PSA here, frens, but I'm noticing an increased amount of infighting and suspiciously leftist-sounding confrontational convos in the past three or four days. It's my belief that the shills are now evolving to be able to bypass handshake restrictions and lie in wait so they can begin sowing seeds of chaos. I'd advise everyone to be on guard against (((their))) agents and post with sound mind and logical thought, not driven by emotions.

God wins!

Usually deport them, the mods don’t take any crap and we appreciate them immensely.

12
MemeToDeath2021 12 points ago +13 / -1

Look for these clues:

  1. Focus on one obscure part of a post in attempt to discredit
  2. Forum sliding-injecting unrelated or tangential "bait" topics near the top for discussion to push all the relevant comments down
  3. Long comments with largely opinion or un-sauced speculation countering legitimate points (also put high in thread to push good comments down) [good practice is to create separate post and provide link with large bits of info]
  4. Use of phrase "poorly-sourced", usually as a projection by someone with zero sources
  5. Use of the language "regurgitation of intelligence agency talking points" to attempt to discredit post or comments
  6. Injection of "what has come of this place" concern trolls to disrupt quality discussion and accumulation of sauce; and to try to discredit whole community.

These two topics will be attacked immediately and relentlessly: A. ANY mention of adrenochrome, and B. ANY mention of "name stealing", people using fake IDs, or people taking over another persona for a mission (standard spy tactics)

8
EuropeNeedsFixing 8 points ago +8 / -0

Well, I haven't used the phrase "poorly-sourced", but I have questioned memes' origin a few times. Lately the Henry Kissinger one. I do it, because if it turns out to be fake, it makes us all look bad.

3
MemeToDeath2021 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes. Good to question. The context of using "poorly-sourced" is as a projection is when the OP has provided numerous links and explanations logically tied together and the person disputing has provided zero, yet claims "poorly-sourced". It is almost comically stupid and easily recognized.

2
ReticulatingSplines 2 points ago +3 / -1

I see this all the time.

I would add that their pseudo-rebuttals fail to offer logical fact-based counter-argument(s).

Also, there’s the authoritative shills who pretend to be farmers, “elder pedes”, etc. in their false refutations and whom use the false identity in place of relevant sources.

I personally won't go as far to speculate that there are mods trying to destroy GAW from within.

However, it is very disappointing to see some of the posts that get stickied. There's a lot of: -Trivial fluff -Unsourced posts -Opinion posited as fact

..that gets stickied and it's a shame. Some stickied posts have been shown to be misinformation and they still stay up for hours. However, some of the responsibility rests on our shoulders in that regard as I have seen many of these posts get upvoted like crazy with only a handful of discerning commenters calling out the post in question for being false or opinion masquerading as fact.

I think most of the mods do excellent work for what is a rather thankless job, but I would like to see more care in what gets stickied.

25
harkk 25 points ago +26 / -1

I think some people upvote posts without actually reading them.

12
JackieDaytona74 12 points ago +13 / -1

I think you're right, harkk :(

9
rooftoptendie 9 points ago +9 / -0

im sure this does happen, but I also think there's some shill-action... shills like to take certain things and upvote them to slide important crap. Shills love questions and rants that will cause infighting or dooming... old news... bible quotes... normie memes... anything that can gain some traction and bury what should be the GA's lede.

Part of what makes mods important is that they have the power to rescue something that's getting buried by crap. I love that our mods understand this, and I think the more they do it the better.

To be fair, what I heard the mods mention is that stickies != confirmed info. Sometimes stuff gets stickied because they want it to be fact-checked. Sometimes someone just requested it and they're happy to oblige. Mods aren't capable of being everywhere at once, sadly, and they're probably not bots.

It would be ideal to see that noted somewhere in the sidebar just so everyone was on the same page about that, though.

4
JackieDaytona74 4 points ago +4 / -0

"To be fair, what I heard the mods mention is that stickies != confirmed info."

I must confess that I was not aware of that, citrouille.

I definitely respect that time is limited and the mods don't have the time to fact check every post that's been put up. But I would like to see a more aggressive effort made to un-sticky posts that have been shown to be misinformation.

5
ChronicMetamorphosis 5 points ago +5 / -0

I definitely respect that time is limited and the mods don't have the time to fact check every post that's been put up.

I work 2 jobs in addition to prep, and mod. I also find ways to practice an instrument in between.

When I spent time fact checking, I felt like an asshole bouncing around from post to post simply cutting down good people's well intentioned post.

I did it because I would've received the scrutiny from the community if I trusted the poster off hand and stickied.

I'm not God. I don't try to be. I get no ego rush from being a mod.

But alas, even though I feel this way, I am 1 of 22 mods. This only accounts for one persons point of view.

Im always here to make this community a fun place to learn and escape to.

1
PandaMoon17 1 point ago +1 / -0

1
Lawjic 1 point ago +1 / -0

What would be cool is a section right under the stickies, highlighted a different color and stamped Fake News; put disproved posts there to spread awareness. Some people keep posting stuff we knew was fake months ago like they just discovered something.

5
Q20191776 5 points ago +8 / -3

There is that handy Hide button.

Just sayin'.

2
harkk 2 points ago +5 / -3

What does that have to do with people upvoting posts without reading them?

10
808Ros3y 10 points ago +10 / -0

I will admit if there's a post with a link to a video and no further details I don't open them but I don't up vote them either. Most of the time I am not in a place where I can sit and listen to a video so those are wasted on me. I much prefer reading anyway.

8
harkk 8 points ago +8 / -0

Same here. I don't bother with most posts that only have a link to a supposed news story and no explanation either. How much trouble is it to give a one sentence explanation instead of clickbait? Most of these alternative news sites are pretty awful, unfortunately. We really need a good, well done conservative news site.

5
rooftoptendie 5 points ago +5 / -0

Same. If it's a vid I want either an informative title, or a TLDW in the comments.

1
JackieDaytona74 1 point ago +1 / -0

This isn't Twatter. We're not supposed to ignore one another, we're supposed to make the community better.

13
PilgrimFarAway 13 points ago +13 / -0

Definitely makes sense to bag on the mods. These overpaid, underworked, good for nothing leftist morons...oh, wait - that's the asswipes at Facebook. Are you sure it makes sense to disparage the mods of GAW who stinking volunteer their time and work their asses off to create a tremendous community experience? Do you have a clue how much this place would suck without them?

I do not understand why patriots are so quick on the draw when serving up friendly fire. If someone does something that you don't agree with, they may not necessarily be "moronic". If someone posts something you don't agree with, they might not be a commie, shill or idiot.

6
rooftoptendie 6 points ago +6 / -0

some people will NEVER be satisfied with their mods, no matter who they are. Mods = Gods and yet mods are not gods. They're just people. This is the best non-chan-related Q board I've ever been on, hands down.

People bitching have no idea how good they have it here, and no clue how awesome our mods are compared to most of the interwebs.

5
Beat_it_Commie 5 points ago +5 / -0

This ^^ I'm betting 90% of GAW has never ventured to 8kun and tried to process a Q Research general thread. Takes me quite a while, especially if a bread is moving quickly. Not to mention, 8kun is shilled even more heavily than GAW. Much harder to filter out the garbage, along with the degenerate posts/images that add nothing.

There's only one mod that I question their motives. Otherwise, I think we're doing OK otherwise

My gosh, yes! I know the mods aren't sitting around looking for something to do but what can be done to stop the ridiculous duplicating? I also often see a duplicate post stickied while the poor soul who posted the original post is ignored, which I think is extremely unfair.

I also see a lot of things posted from third-rate "news" sites that are days or even weeks old. They are of course marked "breaking." Hint: breaking means a story that has come in right on deadline, may be incomplete and will be updated as new info comes in. It does not mean "READ ME!! I"M NEW!"

I also often see a duplicate post stickied while the poor soul who posted the original post is ignored, which I think is extremely unfair.

I've made a point to comb the search bars as users have suggested. Sometimes I found one person requested a sticky, yet an older duplicate post did not.

In those situations, I've stickied both to avoid conflict, and distribute likes.

What is the proper thing to do?

I learned early on to use the search function before posting breaking news. More often than not, someone got here before me. 😁 Hey, did anyone hear that Ivana T died? kek

7
Cpleb 7 points ago +7 / -0

when you block, do you just stop seeing the shill response or that person is blocked from interacting with everyone?

9
CovfefeNegro 9 points ago +9 / -0

Block doesn't seem to work or it kis sporadic at best, I block folks and they keep coming back.

It is supposed to work so that 'you' don't see that poster.

1
Podger 1 point ago +1 / -0

I had the same problem with the block feature, so I came up with a workaround.

I use 'uBlock Origin', an adblocker browser extension. You can use it to hide the posts/comments of any user. In the 'My Filters' section of settings, paste the following two lines and replace 'username' with the actual username. I use it to remove users that I find annoying but don't necessarily warrant deporting.

greatawakening.win##.comment[data-author=username]

greatawakening.win##.post[data-author=username]

2
BetterNameUnfound 2 points ago +2 / -0

I had the extension but didn't know you could do that with it. Thank you.

2
CovfefeNegro 2 points ago +2 / -0

3
MemeToDeath2021 3 points ago +3 / -0

They appear to wait until something gets stickied or enough upvotes to get attention, then two or three glowies/shills do a coordinate attack to derail the topic. They don't waste their time if nobody is upvoting. Demonstrates that they clearly have been instructed to discredit and pollute the discussion.

9
harkk 9 points ago +9 / -0

There sure are a lot of people here who seem to only be here to attack fellow GAWers, argue and distract from the point. I wish the block button worked, especially for the one who devolve to personal attacks. Anyone know why it doesn't?

9
Strelnieks 9 points ago +9 / -0

This is not a new tactic. Sleepers have been used on previous platforms and of course here as well.

As others have stated, simply deport. Jannies are on top of that shit around here.

8
divergence [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

I agree, this is far from the first time. I see this tactic being used and deployed in waves, and I thought it appropriate to alert that we're probably in one as we speak.

5
FondueFerret 5 points ago +6 / -1

But it's not that easy to spot them, otherwise we wouldn't have this issue. Among many of the people being deported or banned, there is always "collateral damage". A patriot may have a cynical take on something or may be having a bad day or even just be concerned and then gets deported. It's quite unfortunate. Many patriots also have asinine ideas & opinions or make shit-posts, low-info posts...but as long as such posts are acceptable to the mods and upvoted by members, you'll get them. It's not like shills or glowies don't know how to blend in either...psychological operations, that's their job.

2
Cpleb 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yea the shit posts. Everyone loses their mind about some nobody posting smth on Twitter …smh

No sauce, no substance just feelz

1
MemeToDeath2021 1 point ago +1 / -0

A low post/comment score ratio can give it away. It takes time and effort to post, meaning someone with a post/comment score ratio >>>1 is likely a serious researcher or a huge idiot for wasting their time. Comments cost the user nothing and post/comment score ratio <<<1 indicates either a sleeper karma farming or someone just passively lurking. Serious contributors have both a high post and a high comment score and a ratio ~1 since they are contributing in both ways.

2
Wtf_socialismreally 2 points ago +2 / -0

As far as I can tell though, there is zero way to bypass the handshake. I'm sure there have been compromised accounts or sleeper accounts or even bought accounts though.

7
Queef_Anon 7 points ago +7 / -0

Just don't confuse calling out people on their bullshit for shilling. We're united under the cause and stand for a lot of the same ideals but, let's be frank, that's where it ends.

Calling someone a shill over a disagreement is something a leftist would do.

1
Wtf_socialismreally 1 point ago +1 / -0

A commonly done thing. Always very amusing when it happens, especially when someone disagrees on a narrow point even though they agree with the whole.

6
defendliberty911 6 points ago +6 / -0

The personal in fighting is bad but what's worse are the insane/slidding comments that span 20+ comments deep on very critical posts. They completely side step the topic and engage people in asinine topics. Their very deceptive and come off as genuine. Look for it. It's been happening for months.

2
MemeToDeath2021 2 points ago +2 / -0

On point. Be careful falling for the "bait". If you realize you fell for it, delete all your comments and post a general comment on that discussion explaining how it is off topic and not relevant. This then exposes the shill/glowie and makes them look like a retard as only their comments remain as evidence.

I don't know how new this phenomenon is, though.

2
MemeToDeath2021 2 points ago +2 / -0

It is a sign of their desperation. They are getting their asses handed to them on all fronts in this information war. So their only way left to combat it is to shill/glowie the crap out of the people reporting the truth, so that the fact of how badly they are losing sees as few eyes as possible. Meanwhile, we keep doing our thing gutting or PRE-gutting all their BS narratives and gutting their "support" until their whole house of lies collapses on top of them.

2
MemeToDeath2021 2 points ago +2 / -0

1st step to winning is attitude:

Karen, nobody gives a fuck what you think. Please shut up until you learn something useful.

The bad people in this world are those that knowingly violate others' rights trying to "fit it", "go with the crowd", or "virtue signal" because they are afraid of being criticized for taking a principled stand on a topic.

2
NanaQ45 2 points ago +2 / -0

100% spot on!

4
Choctaw 4 points ago +4 / -0

There are a lot of subversive sleeper accounts that have been activated in the last 5 or so months, and more recently. I would bet that a lot of the same accounts that are getting banned or kicked are coming from the same IP's or same generic vpn services. I am free speech first, but coming in here to disrupt b/c your argument is a dumpster fire is rather tedious. You do that on a reddit sub and it's all hands on deck b/c someone is crying into their snuggy and needs a hug to go with their soy latte. It might be time to knock it up a level and start banning via IP or geoip.

3
dty6 3 points ago +3 / -0

If I understood you correctly, that's a GREAT idea!

3
Wtf_socialismreally 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think free speech in regards to The Donald and offshoots ended when Reddit banned The Donald and offshoots.

At that point, gloves came off. And while I am a Constitutionalist, this community of sites does not pretend to be non-biased and welcome the other side.

I say this as someone who used to argue, repeatedly, with fellow posters on The Donald on Reddit when lefties came in for a discussion.

Yet now, I resent just based off the fact that we have a certain leftist sub mod running around here.

We have plenty of disagreements with each other as independents and conservatives; we definitely do not need leftists galavanting around at this point.

The whole manifestation and “the secret” creepiness gives me the heebeejeebees. It may be a mod doing it, but it sure as hell isn’t godly

4
FondueFerret 4 points ago +5 / -1

What are you talking about when you say "the secret"?

4
demonite10 4 points ago +4 / -0

"The Secret" is a book/movie that discusses how to manifest what you want by the Law of Attraction

3
Cpleb 3 points ago +4 / -1

I don’t know what the big deal is on either side of that book. Positive thinking….big revelation.

2
demonite10 2 points ago +3 / -1

It's not just positive thinking, if it was then it wouldn't warrant the kind of attraction it's gotten. Either way, the conclusion I've come to is nothing trump's God, so why not just devote time and prayer to him? Life has been much more generous since that revelation.

1
Ssue1216 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s a book that is new age and talks about manifestation. Malarkey

3
289m 3 points ago +4 / -1

the bible explains manifestation about as well as the secret does. 'become as little children', 'ask and ye shall recieve'.. it is no different. faith moves mountains.

2
demonite10 2 points ago +5 / -3

Definitely agreed here. I don't think the majority of people who follow new age stuff realize that they're playing with magic that's more like playing with fire. I would know, I was there myself before. I see it as one more type of attack this board has to deal with, but sadly it looks like a lot of our users don't agree.

2
ChronicMetamorphosis 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, to everything you said. You are not alone. I've lost many family members to New Age cults, and I was in one as early as 16.

If it weren't for my strong Baptist roots, I might not have came out. I left in my 20s and I've found the middle ground between all of it.

Both sides will attack you for saying it.

Don’t take every opposing opinion as shill, if we do that we become them in the long run.

What? You become a shill when you find too much disagreement, but you're really MAGA?

navycuda 3 points ago +4 / -1

We’re getting damn near to crunch time and some of us are scared shitless. I have faith in God’s plan, but that doesn’t mean I want to be camped even if that’s his plan.

We can all see it, it’s getting dangerously close.

theres restrictions to being a handshake?

divergence [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

There are! First, everyone who sees your comments knows your account was either recently made or is not active. Second, your original posts aren't visible to the rest of the community until you've been active enough on the site to receive a high enough number of updoots.

2
FondueFerret 2 points ago +3 / -1

Yeah you need to have a certain amount of upvotes on your posts and comments afaik.

Upvoted just to lend a helping hand. I've been round for quit a while, since the Donald crashed but I had to remake my account at some point and became a handshake. We should all help each other out when we can🙂

2
lurkingzoomer 2 points ago +2 / -0

i've been part of the movement for a while too, fren. not every handshake is new to the movement, just to GAW.

also hey shills: NCSWIC

milgal 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well, you can see by the pothole that downvoted my comment, I'll pretty much always be a handshake here by my own choice. When all you've got is to lord over someone because they have a symbol by their handle, well potholes gonna pothole. :D

Too many people on this forum do not understand that this is not The Donald.

divergence [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Could be a result of said people migrating straight from there and not getting the memo about the change in culture!

2
Mar-0 2 points ago +2 / -0

When someone demands that you show how the Bible defines the difference between kill and murder in order to suggest that God's Word is subject (important word there) to interpretation you know you found someone who is professionally retarded.

These kinds are all over this board and I'm constantly downvoted for pointing them out.

Lots of the ccp 50 cent army here.

They've certainly showed themselves!

2
noquo89 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've been seeing so many stupid and divisive theories start gaining traction completely out of left field. Feels like there's a lot of board sliding towards pointless discussions focused on starting infighting. Some of them are interesting and people have the right to discuss them, but at the same time it felt so extreme and off topic from any major Q discussions. After a while, seeing 3 or 4 extreme claims here, ALL from very aggressive individuals who belittle and patronize anyone who asks them anything, starts to feel like a pattern. Feels like they're just throwing shit at the wall hoping something sticks since things have sorta quieted down news wise.

possibly because Saturday is the Sabbath and they aren't supposed to touch a computer on the holy day...

2
GoingCamaro 2 points ago +2 / -0

I love these posts. They make a claim, fluff a bunch of words and emotions and then fail to cite any examples...

In groups like this there will ALWAYS be infighting. Research the Founding Fathers, it really is a miracle we have a country at all... But that's just it: our freedom was founded on empowering the individual. And that means each of us has a different perspective one way or the other. We aren't all going to agree and I think you're reading into things too much.

If you are expecting some reality to come forth where people don't argue, that will never happen. And when it does, we're no longer free...

Maroon 2 points ago +2 / -0

Can you be more specific? Cause if you're talking about shutting on flat-earthers posting videos made by 60-IQ crackheads as "proof," I will never stop doing that.

2
Suzeq2018 2 points ago +3 / -1

a few things wrong with this research wise;

  1. we don't know everything, so to automatically believe nasa over fellow conspiracy theorists is foolish.

  2. we're supposed to be above average researchers, so that means questioning Everything, even if we think we 'know' better.

  3. there are tons of space/moon clues woven throughout Q, so why wouldn't we investigate FE. there might be some helpful info, even if some don't 'believe' in it.

Kennedy's moon speech; listen to the sarcasm, and outrageous facts he presents.

https://youtu.be/th5A6ZQ28pE

His son, Jfk jr.s famous George Magazine has a minimalist cover which happens to include the moon🧐

https://themarshallreport.wordpress.com/2021/02/07/jfk-jr-how-did-george-know/

and even Joe Biden mentions the moon, in an interview about JFK. he seems to realize it was a crazy plan in such a short amount of time.

https://youtu.be/WUuxPWseXsU

pretty sure we should pay attention to what we've been told about space.

2
Maroon 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm open to believing we never went to the moon but I don't see how that proves flat earth.

I’ve deported a few, it’s the go-to when I see suspiciously retarded comments only faggots would say, ie. pro experimental jabs etc.

It's painfully easy to spot them. And fun now!

Over on Truth they are especially easy to ID and shame.

PSA:

Leftist tactics they cannot help but use

Rule 1: Make wild claim. Rule 2: If called out for wild claim, demand person calling out provide proof that claim is incorrect, and namecall Rule 2b: NEVER provide own proof. Deflect, Dodge, Do anything but prove your case Rule 2c: NEVER directly answer a question. Rule 3: NEVER stop attacking the person. Rule 4: Insults and namecalling MUST insinuate disagreeing with them is stupid.

Not a shill but I was guilty of some near edge lord comments recently. We resolved it and both apologized after 3 days. I usually try to make it right. Sometimes I just want the idea of “maybe I was a bit of an jerk” sink in before I apologize. Then a few days later I offer a true genuine apology.

And sometimes I can apologize right away because I’m upset. I have one of those “Trump is a clown” trolls on Truth who I’ve decided I will never apologize to. He is a demon. I don’t apologize to demons.
