Respectfully I’m not a 20 year old with his whole life ahead of him. I’m 32, beaten-down and tired. People don’t look at me as a fountain of potential anymore.
Everyone older than you would love to be 32 again. It's all the perspective you choose.
Pick up the book, "Think and Grow Rich," by Napolean Hill. It's a great starting point. Once you've consumed that a few times, keep reading other self development books. It's all about building momentum and that starts with your first good choice, then your second. Before you know it, you'll be on your way.
Another great book is, "How to Win Friends and Influence People," by Dale Carnegie. This one will help you become an excellent communicator and there are few things in life that will help you achieve more in your personal and professional relationships than being a good communicator.
You've already demonstrated your courage and bravery in choosing your life over the Mandate. Never forget how strong you are. Many people can't do that.
You've got this. God has a plan for you. He will show you the way. 🙏🏻
I’ve got 20,000 to my name and a pickup truck with my belongings. Where do I even start?
When I was your age, I had a $0 and a Chevy Beretta.
You're already better than me.
I'd go to a temp service and see what local jobs they got just to keep money flowing until you figure your next move.
Learn home repair, learn how to work on your car, learn how to grow food, learn how to barter your work and manage a small business.
These skills are invaluable, and will help you save money as you get older.
More importantly, pray to God to nourish your body and mind, and read the Bible.

I second these book choices. Then re-read them every year. You pick up something new from them over time as you grow and evolve.
