I’m Canadian but when they were cracking down on the unvaxxed at my unit, pulling us into the office and doing the “it would behoove you to…” threats, I would listen to this if I knew I had time before I was called. Gave me courage.
I told my wing commander during my exit interview that in due time him and those who serve will be wearing blue UN helmets and checkpointing his own family and countrymen. I said, “between you and me, I’d rather die”
