This has happened multiple times. Basically means nothing concrete unless the results line up. They have to do testing to make sure everything is working properly on each aspect of the reporting. You don't want it to be election night and have issues which prevent reporting. It's dumb that they actually made that data publicly accessible sure. But doesn't really mean much on its own.
