This is interesting to me because I always had this gut feeling of "I understand giving 10% but why does it have to be my church? Why is my pastor so much more special. Why can't I just give 100% of myself and my spirit to being kind to others and doing things to help my community."

I feel like God wouldn't want us to give 10% to a church that is misusing funds anyways and most of the time bigger churches won't be audited by its congregation.
