They may be wise words but the guy asking still has no clue where to look. He could of gave him some places to go.

ProudOfAmerica 63 points ago +64 / -1

He did! He sent him to Wikipedia. <facepalm>

BetterNameUnfound 30 points ago +30 / -0

The SJW-run Orwellian nightmare site which changes definitions daily to suit Current Year narratives?

Why not Infogalactic or Conservapedia?

Ogcarvattack 11 points ago +13 / -2

Wikipedia is their curtain. In order to pull it back you must see it first

GoingCamaro 5 points ago +5 / -0

Hey it still lists Azov as Neo Nazis so there is that:

simpleanswer 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's the whole point of sending him there... jfc.

TinkAnon 8 points ago +8 / -0

My thought exactly, unless it is with the encouragement to to research various topics so he can learn that there is propaganda there. On a site most normies take as an authority. I would have sent the little noob here. To start reading posts, to the Q posts, and every negative thing he believe about Donald Trump to research all such topics.

pepperonishoes 5 points ago +5 / -0

That is what I thought as well. Send to GAW.

Then tell newbies to read the comments. Go to places they see referenced.

KickingPugilist 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah and when he joins he will be called a doomer shill and be reported 😄

SoMuchWinning45 2 points ago +2 / -0

With that, he could start with the media narrative, then watch the video in full, whatever it may be. Also could go with the ice cream bullshit too. Something like that, while not necessarily a wake-up call or red pill, should make someone say "huh."

TinkAnon 1 point ago +1 / -0

He could watch the 2020 Presidential Debates and see all the issues Biden lied about! There is only one President in my lifetime that made promises & KEPT THEM!

dc0de 1 point ago +1 / -0

It was going so well until I read that line.

And random article? Reading about jellyfish isn't going to help this man.

Whats that saying again? "If you want to protect yourself from the wolves, walk into their den", is it?

Wtf_socialismreally 4 points ago +4 / -0

True, and Wikipedia is a really iffy proposition to send someone looking for suppressed truth. There are some nuggets..not everywhere, and not on anything that has been a talking point before.

It's good advice to search for yourself, but you can still lead someone to the entrances of some rabbit holes.

Pizzagate alone, if you can still access some of the old shit on the Voat archive anyway (RIP Reddit findings) leads down a lot of rabbit holes on its face.

Spending time reading comments and other findings are like branching tunnels down the hole, leading you through a bunch of different places that you wouldn't find normally.

Note: You shouldn't just take what people say or where it leads at face value necessarily either. You should let it bring you to different places with different accounts. There's a LOT of good information in crowd sourced communities for controversial or conspiracy theory topics. Not all of them pan out, but a lot of them do and a lot of them make you ask even more questions you didn't know you had.

LongTimeListener 2 points ago +2 / -0

One leads to another leads to another. Sit and listen. Something sparks your interest? Follow up on it. Have questions? Ask and then verify for yourself. Pick up a copy of The Fourth Turning, Atlas Shrugged, The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire. There are parallels to today in each. Pick up a History textbook from the 1940s and compare it to one from today. Why are they so different? Above all take nothing at face value, even from those people who say they are on your side.

BlazingBear 2 points ago +2 / -0

LongTimeListener you have hit it on the nailhead. And then to really become red pilled it just takes TIME….. one has to read ideas, theories, “conspiracies”, books, keep up with the news, question everything, follow up on the small threads that don’t make sense and then watch it all play out over time. I have been at this for 20 years. 9 1 1 was my wake-up call and I will NEVER forget the night I stayed up all night following link after link only to have this sinking feeling that the world as I thought it to be didn’t actually exist……

Toolbane 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agreed! Maybe ask some questions, give them a rabbit hole to climb down! Wiki..... SMH

BetterNameUnfound 22 points ago +22 / -0

Sheep need to be fed information.

Wolves hunt for it.

Oldpatriot 7 points ago +7 / -0

Prefer the label Lions rather than Wolves, but the point is very well stated and taken 👍👍

BetterNameUnfound 2 points ago +2 / -0

I got it from a meme I saw years ago. Lions would have been equally as good, yes.

deleted 3 points ago +3 / -0
Wtf_socialismreally 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not true, necessarily; wolves have a pack of followers and an alpha that leads them.

Being an alpha is the same as any leadership role; you have a responsibility. Part of the great awakening is being ready to provide information to the awakened. We are meant to be the alphas.

You can teach someone how to seek out information, but you can give some origin points to nudge them on their way too.

Wikipedia is...not really one of those origin points for most subjects.

Aka: Lesson One👆

Gelicki88 0 points ago +1 / -1

I had sex with my cousin, but it was for a good cause. It got him to admit to me that he's gay. I promptly told his wife and our pastor about what happened. She divorced him and he's rarely seen out now.

We all had our suspicions but I was the only one to obtain proof because I always do what it takes to get the real facts. Always hunting for information is the truth!

KickingPugilist 2 points ago +2 / -0

Gelicki88 1 point ago +1 / -0

Glad you agree, my cousin didn't deserve to keep his family.

Halfchan = 4Chan, because 4 is half of 8 (8chan/8Kun). Just in case any newer anons are wondering.

Wtf_socialismreally 4 points ago +4 / -0

Weird since it went 2ch, 4ch and then 8ch only came after. Seems weird to call what came before half of what came after.

But then I don't really like visiting the chans. Feels like a ticking time bomb since /b/'s reputation in the early years of being child porn magnets, and I never even wanted to be around that shit even when I was a kid.

74nooffub 13 points ago +13 / -0

Be brave enough to get a few downvotes.

MathletesFoot 3 points ago +3 / -0

Downvotes only make me kek harder.

GoingCamaro 1 point ago +2 / -1

My favorite is downvote without comment.

GoingCamaro 2 points ago +2 / -0

LOL!!!!! Guess I am beyond brave at this point.

cara_c 9 points ago +11 / -2

I don't think these are particularly wise words. Not everyone has to research from scratch. Not everyone is capable of it, it's not efficient, and the propaganda site Wikipedia is definitely not the place to start.

I think it would be better to give a new anon some books to read, films to watch, a link to https://qanon.pub, and a few forums to follow, including this one. Those inclined to do research can take it much farther, and those without that talent can learn from the research and experience of others, done over decades.

redtoe-skipper 4 points ago +5 / -1

What was it? Start with Wikipedia page and work from there? You are claiming the same thing as the dems. Black people need to be provided for because they can' t take care of themselves. Enter divisive degrading policies.

Take one half hour every day to read a topic. Take another one to ask yourself Who, what, when, where. Consider what you learned and how it relates to what you already know.

Are you claiming that there are people who cannot do this? When you are hungry for food, do you ask other people for it and to stuff into to your front loader? Or do you consider what your desire is to eat, think up the recipe, prepare and cook it, and dress up the table nicely and have dinner?

Concerning efficiency, I beg to differ. When you awake at your own pace, and learn to ask the socratic questions and to test what people try to feed you, that my friend, is a free man standing of his own right. It is a position that a fed chick still has to achieve.

One other question: show me in the bible where it says: efficiency is the way you should wake up people? There is a difference between acquired left brain knowledge and discovered right-brain knowledge. Proverbs 1-5 clearly favors the latter.

Wtf_socialismreally 4 points ago +4 / -0

There's little difference between using a search engine to find information written by someone else and having someone else further down the hole point you to where the hole starts.

redtoe-skipper 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes... Indeed.

Proficiency at using a search engine is a quality that often is still wanting with many people, not the least the active objective of major searchengine providers to tweak the results in favor of fake news and political correctness.

The proverbial Hole always starts where every hole starts: your perspective.

Unfortunately, you cannot be told what your perspective is, you have to see that for yourself. That is when people shift.

There are those who act on knowledge. Most will act when pain of differing intensity is experienced.

Mister_Winston 8 points ago +8 / -0

Pure condescension. The dude was asking a reasonable question and the anon responded like a phony elitist Plato.

igoape 3 points ago +3 / -0

Responded like a redditor.

GoingCamaro 6 points ago +6 / -0

I mean... he asked a fair question about what they are being lied about. I agree with the sentiments regarding "what should I know" but yea at least point them in a direction...

G45Colt 4 points ago +4 / -0

Like others, I don't care for sending the guy to Wikipedia.

Q: How do you learn to spot counterfeit anything? Can you predict the next counterfeit you'll find?

A: Study the real thing

You don't bother to study the counterfeits. You learn everything there is to know about the truth. Then you'll spot a counterfeit every time.

Oasis5150 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would just say, “All things that guided you here, is your niche here. And are to be uncovered and confirmed first person. Then shared amongst the best of the best of the best of the best of the best. Then, the best of the best will also confirm it themselves. Then they will share thoughts, ideas, their intelligence gathered among the topic at hand. Then, by the time a “period” is added before anyone presses send, it has been exposed, uncovered, figured out, brought into the light never to regain darkness with true justice, not the manufactured injustice stuck in your throat they shoved down it.

Trump4evergirl 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is the essence of the whole Q movement.

Oh_Well_ian 3 points ago +3 / -0

go to wiki = go to hell

Eph612 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly. Why would someone push someone to Wikipedia for an Awakening? May have been “wise words” but they wouldn’t have helped me when I was lost in the narrative and looking for some direction.

HumblePede 3 points ago +3 / -0

The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know.

I was - and oftentimes still am - in this exact place. While it's good to point out the weakness of following rather than independently researching, when a person is just coming out of their own personal darkness and into the light of true knowledge, they will often feel completely untethered.

If everything is a lie, how do they know where to look for truth?!

Breaking free from the slavery of programming is a process. It does take some tough love (like telling someone they must let go of the hivemind/follower mentality), but it also takes compassion. Provide some reliable sources for information, learning, and research along with the tough love advice to always verify and think independently.

And remember, the weakest point in the journey to truth is often found during the transition between being fully programmed to that of achieving the state of true knowledge.

Tough love & compassion are key. Always.

VetforTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

I would add, learn God's Word and discover.

numina18 2 points ago +2 / -0

I like the "do not enslave yourself to ignorance". Yes, as I wrote a day or so ago, ignorance was one of the first sins committed in Eden. Adam chose to ignore the God he knew. Ignoring what one knows to be true is the product of slavery to sin. Ignorance, say, by the vaxxed, of the reality of the death jab is going to come back to bite them, and we see this every day. Those weird clots not made of blood are forming, even as we speak. They will kill you. I'm sorry, and since I had Covid, maybe they'll kill me, too. But I am trying to get as close to God as possible, so that when I go, I go to the right place. I hope you all are drawing closer to God.

jasqid 2 points ago +2 / -0

To be succinct, this path requires you to meld your own 'tin foil hat" and walk the path. Some of us started much earlier than the rest here. While some may shine a light down the path, we can't tell you. You must discover and experience yourself.

SoMuchWinning45 2 points ago +2 / -0

Go to wikipedia? No, that's the wrong place to start.

Yep1 2 points ago +2 / -0

I always tell people…. I don’t want you to believe anything I say, I want you to know for yourself. There’s a big difference.

XGemInaV 2 points ago +2 / -0

There's no need to reinvent the wheel. Give him a few pointers to get him started.

CQVFEFE 2 points ago +2 / -0

then again maybe the guy just wanted to know what he was being lied to about

Winstonw 2 points ago +2 / -0

He could have just said “nearly everything” but you will need to dig to find the truth.

Yes it is. The "XX/XX/XX (Day)" after the "Anonymous" is always the date. Ordered in MM/DD/YY in this case. Though why people don't use YY/MM/DD instead boggles the mind, so much easier for file organization.

¶ Independence is the recognition of the fact that yours is the responsibility of judgment and nothing can help you escape it—that no substitute can do your thinking, as no pinch-hitter can live your life—that the vilest form of self-abasement and self-destruction is the subordination of your mind to the mind of another, the acceptance of an authority over your brain, the acceptance of his assertions as facts, his say-so as truth, his edicts as middle-man between your consciousness and your existence.

For the New Intellectual Galt’s Speech, For the New Intellectual, 128

¶ No matter how vast your knowledge or how modest, it is your own mind that has to acquire it. It is only with your own knowledge that you can deal. It is only your own knowledge that you can claim to possess or ask others to consider. Your mind is your only judge of truth—and if others dissent from your verdict, reality is the court of final appeal. Nothing but a man’s mind can perform that complex, delicate, crucial process of identification which is thinking. Nothing can direct the process but his own judgment. Nothing can direct his judgment but his moral integrity.

For the New Intellectual Galt’s Speech, For the New Intellectual, 126

¶ Live and act within the limit of your knowledge and keep expanding it to the limit of your life. Redeem your mind from the hockshops of authority. Accept the fact that you are not omniscient, but playing a zombie will not give you omniscience—that your mind is fallible, but becoming mindless will not make you infallible—that an error made on your own is safer than ten truths accepted on faith, because the first leaves you the means to correct it, but the second destroys your capacity to distinguish truth from error. In place of your dream of an omniscient automaton, accept the fact that any knowledge man acquires is acquired by his own will and effort, and that that is his distinction in the universe, that is his nature, his morality, his glory.

For the New Intellectual Galt’s Speech, For the New Intellectual, 178

¶ [An] error is committed by the man who declares that since man must be guided by his own independent judgment, any action he chooses to take is moral if he chooses it. One’s own independent judgment is the means by which one must choose one’s actions, but it is not a moral criterion nor a moral validation: only reference to a demonstrable principle can validate one’s choices.
